Hello! I am the “new kid on the block” and like any new face I was thrown into the fire right away – greeted with open arms and piles of files! And then told to have the December feature article for the Connection ready ASAP!
I have taken over the financial responsibilities for the organization and will work hard to make sure our books are kept in Tip Top shape to assure our members are getting the most out of their membership!
I am very excited to become a part of the Chamber staff ! It is such an exciting time to be part of the Bismarck-Mandan community. I am quickly learning about how many great things the Chamber oversees to celebrate our community, bring our members together, educate the public and just making Bismarck and Mandan a better place to live, work and raise our families.
Proud to have lived my entire life in North Dakota, I hail from a farm near Maddock. I hold a Bachelor of Accountancy from NDSU – GO BISON! I am a CPA and have worked both in public accounting and in the private sector for the past 11 years.
My husband and I are learning fast that our lives completely revolve around trying to herd our children into some sort of organized chaos. Our 7-year-old daughter is in first grade and has us running to dance, basketball, volleyball, swimming and anything else that she can con her way into! The 4-year-old is entertaining us most days with all of his “boyisms”, stories and imagination! And like many his age always has us guessing which “phase” we are in at the moment! The fun does not stop there as we also have a 1-year old girl a.k.a The Tornado! Most mornings we are trying to avoiding tripping on all of her treasures that she has decided would be best left directly in the middle of the floor. In all seriousness though, we are very blessed to have a very healthy and happy home.
As the holiday season continues to role full speed ahead, I would like to wish all of you the merriest of Christmas’s and a Happy New Year!
