American Bank Center announces the hiring of Todd Humphrey as vice president/business banking supervisor. Humphrey is a graduate of Moorhead State University and the Colorado Graduate School of Banking. He also is a CPA and brings more than 24 years of experience in the banking industry to American Bank Center.

North Dakota residents who have been aff ected by the flooding that began April 7 can now visit the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC) if they have questions about recovery programs.

Draped in a star quilt, former North Dakota First Lady Grace Link accepts congratulations from those who attended an April 28 dedication program at United Tribes. A group of aspiring young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to open their own businesses and run their own town during the first annual Mini-Society summer camp at the IDEA Center in Bismarck Aug. 1-5.
Program director Barry Striegel said about 22 students ages 9-13 from Riverside and Jeannette Myhre Elementary Schools will be chosen to participate in this fun, week-long camp. “It’s an opportunity for them to consider business ownership as a career option and community leadership as an outlet for their creativity,” he said.
