Traditionally a spot to highlight one outstanding member each month, this Member Profile will showcase all 1207* members of the Bismarck- Mandan Chamber. We’re taking this turn in time for our annual TRC (Total Resource Campaign) as a way to thank our current members, but also to inspire non-members to consider joining.

Believe it or not, summer is about to turn to fall and at the Chamber that signals the start of the Total Resource Campaign (TRC), an eight-week Chamber member involvement campaign. The third annual TRC will begin on Aug. 15 when renewal contracts will be mailed to event sponsors from 2011.
Chamber staff and volunteers will reach out to all members to help them maximize their Chamber membership. The TRC will ensure each member is getting a return on their investment and marketing their business to the fullest.

Hundreds of members have been contacted in the past few weeks as the Total Resource Campaign (TRC) continues. The TRC is roughly a six-week window of opportunity for members to add Chamber event and program sponsorships into their 2011 marketing mix.
If you haven’t been contacted by a TRC volunteer, please call the Chamber at 223-5660. A staff member can bring you up-to-speed on available marketing options or upon request, you can have a volunteer visit your business to share the sponsorship menu.

The TRC is officially open to all Chamber members. After a two-week window for renewals, the fundraising campaign is now in full swing. Volunteers are calling on the general membership. Familiar with the Chamber’s event sponsorships and marketing opportunities, the volunteers will meet with members to help them navigate the 2011 menu of opportunities.

This September, the Chamber will launch the 2009 Total Resource Campaign (TRC). The second annual event is an innovative way of offering our entire 2010 program of services, events, sponsorships and marketing opportunities to our members using teams of volunteers.
To get us started Chamber President Kelvin Hullet announces Dave Goodin of Montana-Dakota Utilities as chairman of this year’s campaign. The seven-week, revenue-generating eff ort kicks off Sept. 29 and aims to achieve a $450,000 goal by Nov. 18.
